This service is highly affective in reducing the number of spam messeges that make it to your computer. SVIdaho.net does have the capabilities to tighen the parameters of the email filters, but doing so would block wanted emails from news groups and certain ISP's.

To eliminate spam messages that make it past our filters each user must install spam filtering software. This allows each user the freedom to allow or block emails based on his/her own criteria. Most email editors (Outlook, Netscape, etc.) have built in spam filters, which can help reduce that amount of spam entering your inbox.
